be.ez LArobe Netbook Sleeve
My continued search for the best of the best netbook cases has seen my looking at reams of fairly average and all perfectly good cases. But nothing has been quite so obviously protective as this particular be.ez Netbook sleeve.
If you can tolerate the tragically unfortunate array of garish, neon colours then you’ll find that the memory-foam-esque protective padding within this otherwise fairly unassuming netbook sleeve provides exemplary protection and a fit that can really only be described as keeping your netbook “snug”.
It’s a shame, really, because this excellent padding leaves me wanting for a better external finish; a variety of contrasting leather textures, ala almost any Proporta case, for example.
But you must take the bad with the good and, fortunately, a relatively plain black and white scheme is available for those who don’t want to make a bold colour statement with their netbook accessories.
With a netbook inside, a good hard squeeze of the LArobe Netbook Sleeve will result in a satisfying “squish” and the forming of visible finger-sized indentations, evidence of the case effortlessly absorbing the applied pressure and keeping it from damaging your computer. Dents take a little while to fade, but it’s difficult to make a lasting impression. Even toddler teeth marks eventually faded away leaving a pristine case, standing defiant against any indentation.
It’s reassuring having protection you can feel, so this, plus it’s reasonable £16.95 price tag, makes the be.ez LArobe Netbook Sleeve a worthwhile purchase for your 10″ Netbook.
