Foof-Bag Sleeve for 13″ MacBook Pro Reviewed
It’s difficult to put the aura surrounding the Foof-Bag into words, but I’ll give it a shot. It’s a curious case, stepping away from traditional looks to give something that could easily be mistaken for an item of clothing or a cozy hat. Indeed, the Foof-Bag takes human-clothing levels of comfort, and applies them to your gadget. If you’ve ever thought your shiny aluminium baby needed to be snug, warm and cozy then it’s just the ticket.
As you can tell, I’m a fan of the Foof-Bag. It’s curiously named and curiously styled, but it’s magnetic, figuratively magnetic, in its ability to attract random people from around the office who proceed to try and wear it as a hat, and revel in the sheer coziness of this very alternative case.
It’s not your typical leather affair, the Foof-Bag is lined with a fluffy, cozy interior. The one I received to gander at, the green foofbag, boasts a 100% cotton corduroy exterior which is definitely a love it/hate it affair. Most people seem to fall on the side of love-it, generally favoring the distinctness it lends to the sleeve. If you want to set yourself apart from the crowd, a foofbag will do the trick.
Unlike almost any more traditional case, you can also machine wash the foofbag (most of them, anyway). Bung it in a washing machine at less than 40 degrees on a gentle cycle, and you can freshen up your iPhone/iPad 2 or MacBook Pro case in a jiffy.
It’s a great case, which I now use every day to keep my MacBook Pro cosy and protected. Just make sure your MacBook is actually sleeping, before you put it into the case. Or you’ll find it a little too cosy!
