Dualit Musical Toaster? Nope, It’s a DAB Radio!

Dualit are, perhaps, best known for their extensive range of built-like-brick-outhouses toasters but that’s not where their product line ends. The £85 Dualit DAB Lite Radio extends their range of DAB Radios to two products and borrows some decidedly toaster-like aesthetics to put a little digital music in your kitchen without looking out of place.

You will, of course, be wanting the polished chrome version to match your toaster and accompanying appliances however the Dualit DAB Lite is also available in black and, if you’re going for something a little more contemporary, cream.

The design is deliberately reminiscent of Dualists toasters and places a heavy emphasis on functionality, I’m personally not a fan but the Dualit DAB Lite packs an clear white-on-blue LCD, an admirable bass-ported 6 watt speaker, 10 DAB pre-sets and 10 traditional analogue presets with FM RDS (Radio Data System) for enhanced tuning accuracy.

There’s even a built-in egg-timer, alarm clock and snooze button for those necessary english breakfasts and kitchen-bound naps.
