New Creative Zen Stone And Zen Stone Plus With Built In Speaker
Available in a range of colours and a couple of sizes the new Zen Stone (isn’t it technically a pebble) and Zen Stone Plus come with a built-in speaker and a free skin case with a clip.
I’ve always been somewhat skeptical of players with built-in speakers, they don’t quite compare to delivering sound directly to ones eardrums and seem somewhat gimicky. However, there must be a market for them somewhere.
The Zen Stone and Plus will be available in the UK from the 1st of March at the suggested retail pricing of:
- Stone 2GB with built-in speaker available in Black Only at £29.99
- Stone Plus 2GB with built-in speaker, available in Black, Champagne, Pink and Blue at £37.99
- Stone plus 4GB with built-in speaker available in Black Only at £49.99
Why any of the above are available in just Black is anyones guess, but overall the range makes for a pretty good value set of low-end mp3 players.
